Have fun, change lives! Help us at the Highmark Walk
Have you registered for the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community on May 13?
Name The Eduacation Partnership as your charity, and 100% of the donations you raise will help kids in need. Every $25 helps us reach another child.
Here's a sneak peak at some of the prize packages we're sharing with our walkers:
- Our Top Donor - Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra tickets
- Our Top Team - Digital fitness bands
- Free shirts for EVERY $30 donor
We have plenty more gifts for our walk supporters, so rally your team to raise donations!
Creative ideas to raise donations:
1. Penny drive
This idea has been the most successful event every year: have your work departments or school classrooms compete to raise the most money.
2. Bake sale
Classic! After all, who doesn't have a secret sweet tooth? Have a baking social with your team.
3. Tape someone to a wall
This one's a blast: 1 strip = $1, and if you get enough, your boss, principal or friend gets stuck up on the wall.
Tip: "Pie in the face" is just as entertaining!
4. Ask for sponsors
See if the local businesses you love will give a little nod to your cause, too. If you know folks who work there, stop in for a personal visit to see if they will put in a good word.
Some businesses even have ready-to-go fundraising packages for causes they support, like 10% donation days, which can really help you get the word out!
5. Ask your friends
Sounds easy, right? Ok, we know asking for money isn't easy. That's why your Highmark Walk login page gives you tools to help.
Let everyone know you're championing local kids, and ask them to give a little support— even if it's just $5, or $1. Every bit makes a world of difference to a child.
