Adopt a local school that’s eligible for help, and provide the funds to supply each student with their very own school supply kit.

Share the love
Attend an assembly at the school to speak to students, distribute the kits, and see the impact of your efforts first-hand.
Our Adopt-a-School program is open to organizations, groups, and individuals at a variety of sponsorship levels. Our team works closely with each partner to match their support to a school where it will have the greatest impact. We serve schools across Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties.

While our Teacher Resource Center helps teachers stock their classrooms, our Adopt-A-School supply kits provide the essential items students need to fully engage in their schoolwork.
Each school supply kit is designed to reflect students’ grade levels and classroom needs. Kits include the essential supplies students use every day in alignment with curriculum expectations. Materials vary for elementary, middle, and high school students to ensure age-appropriate support.
In addition to core supplies, kits can be personalized with add-ons to better meet the specific needs of a school. These additions include items that support creativity, hygiene, or subject-specific learning, helping students feel seen and supported beyond the basics.
There are only good reasons to participate in the Adopt-A-School Program! The staff at The Education Partnership is a blast to work with! They are organized, responsive, kind, and FUN! This experience opens your eyes to diverse areas of the Pittsburgh Community and is a nice “perspective check” to the importance of supporting our students and teachers. From beginning to end, participating in the Adopt-A-School program is incredibly inspiring. The first time you get to see the children receive their bags you will know you made the right decision!
