Description:

These are colorful, easy-to-operate, and friendly little robots that are easy to operate and very kid-friendly! Each Bee-Bot has a sequence memory allowing the student or teacher to store up 40 commands: forward/backward, left/right, or pause. Once the user presses “Go”, the BeeBot will perform all the commands in order. It will help develop basic algorithmic skills, sequential learning, and foundational programming abilities.

Helpful Tips/Suggestions:

  • The BeeBot’s memory can be cleared by pressing the clear key <X> allowing the new user to start fresh
  • For a fun activity, draw out a route that the BeeBots should follow and then allow students to program their BeeBots to follow this route. This will guide them in understanding how the BeeBot works and will also encourage them to think critically.
